Chris Morrisy: Monmouth County, NJ, United States; Whether it is energetic for the enthused or soothing for the subdued, Chris Morrisy has an emotional voice that embraces everyone. This mainly self-taught musician is devoted to always having an optimistic outlook while satisfying the crowds. Morrisy is concerned with getting a positive message across when performing. Though having received a guitar from his dad years earlier, Morrisy first started to play during his senior year of high school. He played for a band named Jack Tripper but left to start playing on his own. Now Morrisy graces us with an eclectic blend of cover songs jointly played with originals. An enthusiast of Morrisy said, “What matters [to me] is knowing that he goes out of his way for everyone. Whether he’s known them for years or has only met them once, he makes sure that everyone feels comfortable and welcomed. Seeing how Chris affects others makes me want to go out of my way to be there for him.” Morrisy’s creativity flows through his hands, yet his message flows through his words and dreams.
